I just had my Livingstone countertops installed yesterday. I had to step out before they finished (my son was being discharged from the hospital) and the guys said they had a while to go. But when I got back, they had left. Everything looked beautiful. The only thing was, there was white powder all over the counters.I texted the contractor that it would have been nice if they had cleaned up and he agreed. I started wiping with water and paper towels. I got all of the powder off but what I discovered is that even the slightest amount of liquid leaves the countertop sticky until it dries. Very sticky. It feels like adhesive. If my fingertip is slightly moist and I touch the counter it feels sticky. When it’s dry it feels nice and smooth. I asked for a honed surface btw.
