Not my usual thing but really cool space! So: move the mirror to behind the bear so that his head and shoulders are reflected. Always great to be able to see three dimensional elements from all sides. Add 1 large (4-5' wide) horizontal piece of art over the media unit. Lose one shelf on either side and accent with fewer decorative elements about the scale of the sub-woofer. Pottery, baskets, boxes for storage, etc. I would also paint the wall behind the unit one of the deeper neutral tones occurring in the river rock. Place the mantel clock inside the unit as one of the dec elements. Eliminate the clutter on top the unit and find other homes for your valued photos, but NOT in the media shelves. Clean it up and simplify. This will allow these rustic surfaces and elements to shine. Move the urns of bear grass to the hearth on either side. I would love to see a large rustic wooden tray, snow shoes, prospecting sifting tray or something of that vibe leaning on the mantel. Nothing else. If you want to get a bit ambitious, paint the media unit a deep barn red or mineral red. Have fun!
