The lates are starting

My gardens are winding down. Most of my lates are blooming now. Autumn Minaret and Orchid Corsage have started along with the ones in the photos below.

Buzz Saw finished up with a bang…..got this really nice poly bloom, it’s last for the season.

Ice Carnival is having a good season, it seems my late bloomers have not been affected by the weird weather this season.

This is an every day show for Pizza Crust, doing so well this season.

I have been told this noid is most likely Jan’s Zoo. It was added spring of 2021 and has done really well. Such a nice addition to the lates.

Coral ajority started this week. It enjoys dappled sun part of the day.

How High the Moon is a new addition, first blooms this week.

Laura Harwood got started this week. This one got divided into three plants. It is doing well despite that.

First bloom of the season on Final Touch.

This is a wonderful bunch, hard to choose favorites. Your Jan Zoo is my favorite; Other top picks are Coral Majority, Buzz Saw, and Final Touch. Always like Laura Harwood of course.

Wow, Sherry, it seems like your season just started!!! Love that poly bloom on Buzz Saw-so pretty. Regardless of what it might be, your noid is striking. How High the Moon is quite lovely-I really like those blooms.

Pizza Crust just goes on and on like the Energizer Bunny! How High the Moon is a pretty late! Is that a new one for you?

Debra, How High the Moon is new. It is supposed to be a tall one…..to fit its name. Maybe tall next season…..I have had a lot of short scapes this season just like most of you.

The radiating green throat on How High the Moon is very inviting. I see it is a Pat Ball intro. Jan Zoo is indeed a later one. The shaded pic does not particularly resemble Jan Zoo, but the shade changes coloration. Jan Zoo in sun appears as a reddish orange. The big yellow throat is like yours.

You have a lot of beautiful ones to extend your season. I like Laura Harwood. Pizza Crust is making a nice clump.

Minnesota Morning has many more blooms to come, new last season as a bonus. This is fairly tall, close to 36”.

Buzz Saw is one of my favorites here. It blooms a long time for me and the blooms are about perfect every time.........How High the Moon is glowing. Is it really that white in person? Gorgeous.......I like Final Touch too. Hope to see more of it..........Maryl

Sherry: Nice to have so many late bloomers. Jan Zoo is one I would pick. Buzz Saw as a poly looks so nice too.
