Look at those old flowers and see if there’s a little round green nub inside.

Thanks, Emmers. No...at this point all I see is some dried 'flower' leaves in there...no green nubs or beginnings of tomatoes. Even IF they are to develop/appear over next few days/weeks, is there enough time in this growing season for the Possibility of viable tomatoes? And... is there any benefit to putting the pot on my rooftop, where it would get more direct sun, and all day? Thanks.

Looking at your temps, the last couple of weeks have had highs in the 90sF and lows in the high 70sF. At those temps, tomato flowers largely won't pollinate. We've had unusually high temperatures this spring and summer, and I've gotten very few tomatoes at all. As it cools off, you may have more success with pollination, but the question is whether you have enough growing season left to ripen tomatoes. More direct sun may increase the number of flowers, but it won't help with pollination. This has been bad weather for tomatoes over most of the country.

You have over two months to grow, no reason you can't try to get tomatoes. Full sun may help as long as you keep them watered.

Yes, in NYC you probably have a chance. Upstate, probably not.
