23 years ago, I purchased a whole house (28 windows and a sliding glass door) of wood and fabric blinds from Hunter Douglas. Only the sliding glass door cellular blinds have been replaced with single side curtains. The wood blinds are all in great working order and the slightly off-white color looks great as decor has evolved. We have textured beige Roman shades in the living/dining room. Again the fabric is in pristine condition and opens/closes easily. Main bedroom has Silhouette blinds in an off-white. All look great and work well including the top down/bottom up versions in bathroom. The only issue with cellular blinds is bugs can enter the cell and require removing by vac.

We paid over $12,000 which shocked my hubby. But the was a great decision as I expect all blinds and shades (except sliding door application) are the same color, open and close easily and add subtle charm to each room.

I know 2022 prices are much different but I’d still invest in Hunter Douglas. My only interaction with Customer Service was ordering 2 plastic pieces which attached header of wood blinds after I dropped one. Quick and easy!
