I want to put a ceiling medallion on this fixture. I want to use the kind that comes in two halves and is placed around the fixture so it doesn't have to be taken down.
Most install instructions I've read call for gluing it on. I don't want to do that to avoid damage if I want to take it down.
The ceiling is textured and sloped. Can I install it with only screws and caulk? I'd rather need to adjust screws or re-caulk later than deal with glue damage.
Thanks for your input.
