I'm working on getting an air handling solution together for a lab space, and am curious if 26 gauge snap-lock ductwork is well-sealed enough to prevent leakage of helium-sized particles. It's been hard to find information to answer this question.

I ask because the HVAC company I'm hiring says they're unable to acquire spiral ductwork right now, and said they would quote snap-lock ductwork instead.
