The things on the legs would be quite hard to do without a specialized tool. On the other hand, the construction, particularly where the legs attach to the top is odd. It might be a repurposing of something, but the legs look new. Hard to tell

Are the dots on the top inlaid? I can't tell from the photo. It's pretty cool, and looks to be a rather nice wood. I wonder if glass goes on top.

It looks all original to me, not modified or put together with some newer parts thrown in.

Whatever it is, you bought a winner. Betting a talented woodworker made one of a kind, and yes, somewhat brutalist in style.

Interesting piece....but remember no coffee table is ever antique. I doubt that your table is older than 30 years.
