How often do you need a second oven? i have a second summer kitchen in my basement and I use that oven for the rare occasion I need two. Holidays and parties are the only time I need two ovens

Would you consider a combi - speed oven instead of 2 appliances? I think that is what we are going to do, after looking at the Advantium. It can handle second over needs when the range is not enough, and it can also microwave, toast, etc

It might be wise ti make the slight jump up to a 30” wall oven. The 27” width offers far fewer options and may possibly shrink even further in the future. Anither incentive for a 30 inch model is that they are often priced the same as 27” versions.

I would consider a combi-steam oven (CSO). They come in 24", 27", and 30" widths. Personally, I would probably go with a 30" as someone else suggested above.

You may or may not need a microwave -- although I would probably also get a MW. Put them in a stack -- MW alcove above the CSO.

I have a Wolf 36" Induction range and my second oven is a Miele CSO XXL. Love the Miele and use that 90% of the time. My MW is the Sharp MW drawer with convection, but I don't recommend spending the extra money for the convection part. I heated some appetizers to test it out and it took a ridiculous amount of time to pre-heat, so not worth it. Much better off using my Miele CSO which heats up very quickly.

We have a kitchen aid range and a kitchen aid 27 inch wall oven/microwave combo. I love this setup! Our previous house had the double oven with a cooktop…I personally like the look of a range over the cooktop. In our new place we only had room for the 27 inch wall combo and it’s been great. We’ve had this setup for the past 6 years. It’s the oven we use daily and is plenty large enough (and I have 4 children) for daily use. Love having both available for large dinners or baking parties. Go for it!
