there is a hosta by the name of chameleon ... i wonder why you are confusing us by referring to such in the title????

you move a hosta as many times as necessary.. to find the perfect spot for it.. subject to the need for a backhoe to move them when they get too big ...

and since in that scenario.. the garden is NEVER static.. but ever evolving... your posts about where to plant something somewhat baffles me ..

that said.. i do truly appreciate all the posts about such.. i miss the active forums...

Ken, I hear you, am likely overthinking issue..

My to do list seems to be endless and I would like to do as little evolving as possible later on.

I love reading old posts and discussions on hostas and gardens. Just recently learned that Simply Sharon has been killed by many in their gardens which led me to choose moving Amalia which is bigger hosta of the two when I needed to rearrange placement. Hopefully it will keep them both happy.

Another thing that how long does it take for garden to mature? Am sure double and triple transplant going to keep setting me back.

Some of moved hostas doing well, some exceeded expectations but some just become nearly minies...

LS Paisley print diminished by half but is recovering

Sharp dressed man did nothing

JCC did not skip a bit

But Neat and Tidy next to it trying to recover

Temptation looking good but juvenile compare to what it was....

Seducer is happy.

I am trying to make sure at least larger sized hostas are there to stay.
