What happens if tile arrives smashed?

I am new to home ownership/renovating. Our 18 week wait for tile ended in the pallets making it across the globe...but getting pulverized from the warehouse to our house. Both pallets ruined. Other than replacement, is any additional compensation typical? A discount? Something else? TIA.
