Its not a bad color in combination with what you have, but its a fourth color and IMHO that's too many for this house. Stick within your three you already have (gray, gold and white). With that in mind, how about a darker, grayer version (similar to the chairs). I actually would be inclined to leave doors white - no law that says a door has to be a color! The porch is already defining the space as an entryway.

Some front door confusion with the current arrangement. Which door is the main entry- the one with the large, prominent house number, or the one on the porch? I don’t care for the siding color; you should have it compliment the brick, not attempt to compete with it. I like the front porch colors and seating; I would use the siding color on the door If the siding was not that color. Your eye should be drawn to the main entry, and you color choices have the eye jumping around.

The gold (siding, shutters) is fine if its part of a comprehensive color scheme. I see the gold as the accent color to white and gray. The 60-30-10 rule applies to exterior color proportions as well as interior. Im not sure why people on this forum dont make more use of that concept it really is helpful - I would suggest OP decide which is to be the main color (60%), which is to be the secondary (30%) and which is to be the 10% accent (typically a contrasting color, but it doesnt have to be). From there the door color choice becomes clearer.

@shadywillowfarm I don’t like the siding color of our house but can’t change. I would love to paint it but I do believe my husband will kill me 🤣 just kidding. I like the color of the brick and I love the color of the shutters. The French doors are the entrance to our man cave/my office since Covid. We use that door most but the single door is actually the main. I have considered staining the doors all of them the same color as the shutters but I’m not sure how that would look. I don’t like the way it looks right now.

@debbiedowner the brick is actually white of course with the brick showing through. The chairs are black and the gold is really more like a beige if you are referring to the siding. I agree there is too much going on. The pictures don’t show the colors very good sorry about that. I have considered staining french doors and the fro t screen door to match the shutters but I don’t know!

Unless you strip the doors, you cant stain them, without a lot of work, stripping them to bare wood, and a lot of sanding. Stain, absorbs into the wood and if the wood has a previous finish, it cannot do that. I would leave your doors white, or use the color of your front porch chairs. The green looks out of place, because, there is nothing else that color. Maybe if both doors and the shutters were that color, it would all look like it belongs there.
