Since you know they are random seedlings I’d just put the name of the nearest hosta on them with an ”ish” suffix. Like June-ish.

e.g ..... SM 2020 OP #1 ... #2 .. etc ..

hence it tells you.. sea monster... germinated around 2020.... open pollinated ... and then number one.. number two.. etc ...

throw in an other info you might find helpful TO YOU .. it really doesnt need to mean anything to anyone else ..

You could also make up a related name, such as Baby Sea Monster ( just popped into my head) with the info year info. I find words easier to remember……..just me.

Thank you all. I particularly like the idea of including the year. I'm not sure how old this seedling is, from Sea Monster:

It looks a lot like its parent, except -- at least at this point -- it's considerably smaller in form. I think it's 3 or 4 years old, but I'm not sure and I don't know how close it is to it's final form.
