Why not look at backpainted glass ina color from the quartzite I need to see your slabs in your space to suggest what color .

We did a slab BS in quartzite - it ended up not being that much more expensive bc the fabricator could get the BS from the slabs we were already using for the counters - so just encouragement to price it out with your fabricator. Are you doing a waterfall on the island? Those can be so problematic - I would skip that and put that material toward the BS

@Cynthia Alday We didn't do anything yet, painted sheetrock for now 😢 but the only viable option on the table is back painted glass as @patricia mentioned

I am thinking of doing the quartzite up to the cabinet and then for areas above that level but without cabinet I will put tile backsplash…

How are the quartzquartzite counters holding up? any water stains?

@michelehm11 they aren't holding up lol... water stains is not bad, it disppaeas after a whiel, oils tains/etching is another story, we find that proper sealing prevents it but its almost impossible to keep up
