Since this is a well used item I would not do fabric ever but really I need to see the space and the sofa or I am just guessing as to style.

Of course! The room photos somehow didn’t come along. Here you go!

Fabric is fine if you go for the performance fabrics and/or indoor/outdoor fabric. The link doesn't say what fabric they're using, so that's a little suspect to me.

Pottery Barn has this button-tufted one that you can get in performance fabric. More expensive, but probably worth it:

Or this one:

Sabrina they are both beautiful! My concern is the size is smaller than I need or should say want. My ottoman now is 40” and the Grandin road ottoman is 38 and the fabric is 40”. This may be on the smaller side.

Would this style look nice in my room? I’d much rather have similar to what I currently have but kind of liked the color marbles flint - Just looking to upgrade and want the ottoman to pop too.

I recently learned from another thread that you can by slipcovers for ottomans.

Adding more current pictures of the space

My point was to let you know there are performance fabric options out there. I would expand my search beyond Amazon and Grandin Road.

I see Sabrina! Thank you for the good thought! I will check into the performance fabrics.

It seems like a rectangular ottoman would serve more of the seated area?

The tray could also be smaller to open up more foot room?…since you have the end tables serving the end seating

Valances above the windows would make the ceilings look a little higher?

A rectangular tray is easier to push aside for more foot room

FWIW Annie Selke has ottomans covered with her rugs - visually really nice and very durable

Sometimes you can find really cool ottomans covered with very old antique rugs…. in the oriental rug stores..as they always have old rugs that have deteriorated with age…that they cut up and use for small furnishings…

Still on my search for a new ottoman. Looking for advice on the below options.

I like the third option. Open on the bottom.

This one Mary? I had a link too so want to be sure.

I like the second one…open on bottom with space available to put/store things… while still being able to slide it around easily….

I would suggest taking a stroll at some nearby stores for a hands-on experience of the ottoman options. I agree with Sabrina that you can find performance fabrics so that the ottoman works well and stays in shape longer. However, since you need it to pop too, looking at it in reality will make a difference.

This one Mary? I had a link too so want to be sure.update: I found an ottoman which is so similar to previous but happy 😃

UPDATE: I found an ottoman very similar to my previous but super happy!
