I never like garage doors forward of the house so IMO your rither do what you have done , the same as the siding or a completly new door in wood with windows sort of the same style but wood to work with the other wood you have . Do you need a door to the laundry ?Maybe some much brighter colore furniture and maybe less tall plantings in front. Much bigger planters and filled to overflowing with seasonal plants that are super healthy .Make sure you photo shop the wide trim before doing it IMO those upper windows on the left need to be treated as one wide window and the ones on the right will need the trim to go and wraparound the corner so some tricky trim work I do agree it will add some interest to the front. The door looks like it has some fancy glass in it that IMO does not work with the style of the house but I am only guessing without seeing the front door closer up. No stone trim anywhere please .

Thank you for your input it is much appreciated. I do plan to trim out the windows as you’ve described. We have a guest cottage that is trimmed out the way i like and believe it or not, the windiws on the water side and half of the end of the house did get trimmed out before we bought the house when those windows were replaced. You can see in the cottage pic why I was considering stone. And usually those planters are enormous but the painters disconnected the watering system while we were gone for a month and everything died. 🤦‍♀️ The garage roof is my nemisis!!

I would replace the laundry room door with a wood door, a wood garage door and poss clad the 2nd story in wood or wood look Hardie board to break up the silhouette.

I think the style of the house is what it is and the garage roof is part of that.

Get rid of laundry room door. Replace with window.

If you keep the laundry room door, paint it the same color as the siding. My own choice with your roof and siding colors would be white trim and white front door. I think this waterfront home is one nice example.
