I need suggestions on updating this kitchen. I need to save the cabinets

I would have new doors made. The raised arch( eyebrow) panel looks dated. Then I would decide if I wanted them white- grain fill cabinets, prime and enamel with new paint grade doors or stain. A lot tougher to get a great match and it would have to be a darker color then what you have. Use a shader or gel stain to darken cabinets then match new doors to cabinet color.

Had similar color oak cabinets and painted them white.

With $8000.00 is there any way I can do floors,counters and backsplash in this kitchen

You should also consider updating the lighting.

I think your budget is reasonable depending on choices you make.
