There are some stick-on, or screw on, rubber spheres that can be added to the middle of your pantry door, but not very attractive. I used the same type of hinge stopper that you have on the pantry door to keep our garage door from hitting the bar counter that is directly behind the door in our mud room.

Mske sure your bumper or stopper is long enough to accommodate the length of the handle on your door.

What about the same hinge stop you have on the pantry door? Or, you can screw a baseboard doorstop to the door, as long as it is deeper than the door handle.

They are fun to twang too.

Another vote for the hinge pin door stops. You don't even notice that they are there. I have them on the doors that needs them.

I haven't had any problem with them on my present or past homes, but some people say they can leave a dent if you have soft wood doors.

When my dog was a puppy, we thought it would be good to teach him to 'twang' the stopper on the mudroom door when he wanted to go outside. It worked! But sometimes too well... (Yes, he'd twang when he needed to be let out. But in addition, he could see the squirrels and rabbits in the back yard from the FR windows, and would race to the mudroom and twang like crazy. It once entertained a friend of mine for several minutes.) He's 13, we're in a different house, but he still twangs.
