punch a hole in the wall and see what is beneath that behemouth. if nothing, just take it out, reframe and have a sitting area or little office. OR, do you need a nice walk in closet?

Storage with cabinet doors. If you’re the TV in the bedroom type, split it to an appropriate size and recess a wall hung TV in one segment with accoutrements hidden behind (looks like there’s electrical outlet.). Although it’s the primary bedroom, I might switch it out to a teens or child’s bedroom and make it a loft bed.

I second the idea for storage behind cabinet doors. You could get a finish carpenter to put a row of identical false doors under the actual doors so that it appears to be a full-height cabinet.

why don't you tell us what you need? if you like it, then what would you like used for?

if you like Boho, get a futon and decorate w/ naturals and textures. use it as a day bed thing.
