We are remodeling our downstairs. Our door hardware through out the home is going to be matte black. That will also be the hardware and faucet color in our downstairs bathroom. I am struggling with our kitchen cabinets and faucet choice though. Our appliances are stainless, our sink will be white, our surrounding counter will be white quartz with a little dark gray/black veining. Our backsplash will be white picket tile with gray grout and out surrounding cabinets and pantry cabinets will be white. Our island however is a dark blue with a butcher block top. Should we stick with matte black in the faucet and cabinet hardware or do matte black on the white cabinets and satin nickel or gold on the blue island? If we do matte black and gold should we then do a gold faucet as well? (My husband hates gold so it may be a push to get him to do that.
