Surface applied with VHB tape certainly. Other than that not so much. You would need to apply them on both sides. What does the contractor say about this? Presumably it is his error or what did you sign off for? Why black grids on a white door? I honestly think that looks fine and as black grids will look extremely busy in my opinion.

I had double office doors with grids like you’re showing in my last house, they’re really a pain to keep clean.

I am not sure I understand what the black metal grids are supposed to look like on the white door and how they are mounted. Are they true divided light with fifteen panes of glass or two grids one mounted on each side, or one grid on one side of the glass?

I’m look for a viable solution to having a grid insert on the glass doors, the original doors I wanted are no longer an option that this point.
