This tree is in my daughter’s yard. They bought the house in October 2021. The leaves have fallen off which looked like a fungus problem but the base of the trunk is eroding and was according to my daughter very slimy but it isnt anymore. It doesn’t seem to be dead but is it salvagable or not? What to do? Cause? thank you! c
