How small are you looking for? Whirlwind is small-ish and the center changes throughout the season.

Gary, haven't heard of Faithful Heart. It is a possibility. Now Tick Tock is cute and is a June look alike. My property gets some sun, but even the Junes that I have that get some sun rarely have a yellow center. I wonder whether this would be the case for Tick Tock?

It's not that easy to come up with small leaves with yellow centers, is it?

Some of them are not easy, like Popcorn and Peppermint Ice.

I have Happy accident and Enchanted Mist which seems to be happy campers.

Allegheny fog grows well but creates wider clump.

High society can be fussy too.

Mary Marie Ann was a bit fussy and lost during transport and Eleanor Lachman seemed unhappy but she did not have good location so deserves another try.

Then we have Timeless beauty, White bikini, which likely have more white than yellow middle.

Lakeside Banana bay, good grower but likely more than small.

Faithful heart is a good grower for me.

NHL, honestly for me, the bunnies are more of a problem. I haven't felt like ET was a real slug magnet, but clearly others have. I love it for it’s ground covering propensity.

Lindalana, I've heard about Popcorn. Even if I see a beautiful one for sale at our hosta society, I don't buy it! I'm not interested in difficult to grow hostas.

Some of the ones you have mentioned (lindalana) don't seem available here in Ontario, Canada. I love that Enchanted Mist! That's one we don't seem to have here. Darn!

From your list, I would say I like Lakeside Banana Bay and Faithful Heart. I do have High Society. It is a pretty hosta, but mine isn't growing that much. In fact, I think it got smaller since last year. Probably due to tree roots.

UTOG, those look like good choices. I see you picked Tick Tock like Gary did. Dinky Donna and Wylde Green Cream look interesting.

What a nice Tick Tock Erin! I think your full sun has brought out the yellow very well. Unfortunately, I don't have any full sun locations. I think then the center would not yellow as nicely as yours?

Gardengoon, isn't Moonstruck supposed to be a little difficult? You're right, I'm not looking for lancelike leaves.

I really like all of these suggestions. I am rather partial to Dinner Mint.
