Help me fix this kitchen layout PLEASE!!

Hi friends!

I'm renovating a 70s kitchen in our ranch home. We are overtaking the breakfast nook with cabinets and opening up a wall to the dining room. A shorter wall to the living room is also opening up. We are a family of 3 (husband, daughter and me) and would love to make the kitchen more of a hang out space. A good sized island with seating where we could face each other is essential (want to avoid the soldiers-in-a-line style seating if possible). Also, the sink can only move a couple of feet right or left due to slab foundation issues. So the sink must stay on the long wall. We cook a lot (no baking) and the island would be used for cooking, homework, casual meals and hanging out. The adjacent dining room will also have a full dining table. The induction cooktop is in the wrong place, but I'm not sure where to put it. I wanted to avoid having 2 cooks rubbing backsides with sink and cooktop. I've also experimented with putting the cooktop in front of the window (I know this is controversial!). I'm open to all ideas!!
