There are lots of top down cordless blinds to choose from and I am so tired of making rules so that people with common sense are affected . I have known for more than 50 yrs you don't use cords around kids I did not need a rule to use my brain obviously many do not have brains hence the "rule" I agree wait until the new windows are in and then post pics . It also is good to give us some idea of what is needed like sun and heat control , privacy etc.

Thank you Patricia. it really is ridiculous but not one company in my City has them or will get them! I’m thinking of ordering from the US and having a handyman install. I love seeing the trees out back, and top down blinds would do that without seeing the not so pretty stuff like the barbeque!

So we now have the new windows in! I’m wondering about one full zebra type blind for the window? or other suggestions. We use the room mostly during the day for reading, listening to music etc. So will like having the full window exposed in the daytime. It’s fairly private out back. but we would have blinds down at night.
