i did this project on a pallet. It rained for two months while i was out and these rope baskets are now comepletely detsyroed. i need help on how can clean these and make them look shiny bright and new.

Maybe just leave them alone . I ema they don't look thatbad and could be trying to bring them back to new will ruin them for sure . Rope is left outside lots and stands up quite well over time.I assume you were awy not just out for the day.I wonder how the "flowers " stood up with all the rain. Maybe post a close up of the baskets and someone here can help.

Are they valuable? If not, toss one in the washing machine. Or swish in a tub.

Honestly, truth is, leave it alone. The material is made from natural resources, especially from the tropics. They just decay like normally organic sponges. Unfortunately, you have to keep it like that. Any attempt will ruin everything.

These are not kept outside. You should always have shade over it.
