is the plant outside???...looks like sunburn on water droplets caused by water magnifying the sun ..

if not.. give us some more facts.. a simple brown spot is hard to define with no other pertinent info ...

Hey Ken thankyou for your reply.

I actually reposted with more info last night but I must not have saved it. Sorry. Anyway I said something like it used to be indoors getting filtered light, then I moved to a place on the water and now it gets full (springtime) sun in the mornings, on a covered terrace.

I cant think of a scenario when it had droplets when get sun - it may have happened though.

Ive been so stressed with the move that I dont know when the dots started. I feel terrible for neglecting my plant.
