I love corner windows and IMO sinks do not have to go in front of a window its not like we spend our day at the sink like in the old days.Can you post a to scale plan of the whole space I try to not have upper cabinets if possible and often it is just reorganizing the storage to work better .

I have to have upper cabinetry bc my kitchen is too small. I have a family of 5 so we need the storage and space. But if I move the sink to the wall with the dishwasher and cabinet, I would remove the cabinet and just have some floating shelves above the sink.

I like having the sink next to a window (but not necessarily in front of it). It makes a very pleasant prep area there under the window. Not sure about your spacing, but you probably don't want the dishwasher to end up close to the corner, so the sink might not fit where you want it. If it does though, it'll be a nice change.

@Fori - If I had a 30” cabinet for the sink and centered it on the wall, I think the dishwasher would land next to the sink - so partially under the wall and under the window but not quite in the corner. There should be room to place a cabinet next to the dishwasher before it hits the corner.

I would absolutely move the sink. Most of your time in the kitchen is spent prepping and prepping is not done at the sink but between the sink and the cooktop. Meaning you'd be prepping by the windows! Win/Win.

I would keep the DW to the left of the sink, out of the prep zone.

Make sure you do cabinets all the way to the ceiling. Yes, you need a stool to access the top shelves, but it is useful storage for less used kitchen items. I keep a step stool in my pantry for reaching things in the kitchen.

It might work to leave the DW and upper cabinets as is (possibly moving a bit to the left), and put the sink next to the DW, in the smallest sink base you can get away with, so you can ultimately put a super susan in the corner.

In my kitchen remodel, I had a n angled base cabinet, with a drawer for knives above a super susan (which had full circles, thanks to the angle). As chispa said, run the cabinets up another foot, and make all the base cabinets drawers.
