Muy Caliente impressed me here too although it just bloomed the once. The color was right up my ally and pretty stable considering our triple digit heat. I can't wait until next year..........I like the color of Sherika in your picture. Looks like a deep mauve...........I've never attempted to grow a ginger. Most grow too tall for pot culture combined with our wind but they are intriguing. I saw a Curcuma at Lowes the other day and it was unique. I really enjoy your tropicals.........Maryl

How nice that Muy Caliente is still blooming! It has such great color. I like the looks of Shericka too! The two seedlings are pretty too! Usually when I get a seedling blooming this late, it won't be a late bloomer in the future.

Nice to get rebloom on a seedling, especially a pretty one. They all look great. I like gingers, but dislike bringing inside. I used to have butterfly ginger that overwintered til we had a really cold year.

Muy Caliente! What color! Your seedlings are looking good on rebloom. I enjoy seeing our tropicals. I don't attempt to keep any but you guys have some really pretty ones and I am glad you share them.

Always good to see rebloom. I am hoping that seedling ends up being a late bloomer, always a welcome addition.

Both seedlings are lovely and I am looking forward to Muy Caliente blooming in my garden. Shericka is a lovely color and Bob's gingers are doing quite well apparently. Neat!

I find the triangular shape of Shericka appealing, but it might not be typical. Well, two of the sepals are rolled back.

I just looked up Shericka and saw that it was a Dale Hensley daylily. He has some nice ones that grow/grew well for me. I even had reliable rebloom on a couple of them. I always give a second look at his daylilies............Maryl
