You have Edison light fixtures over the island, but your style looks traditional (the furniture in the eating area and the pantry door). What style are you going for? Do you get enough light from that one center fixture?

This room's light seems to have a wheel/ circle with a few bulbs. How does that seem... to keep the style already in your room?

and how low would bottom edge of new light be .. how low can it hang?

I would be doing low profile track lighting that blends away, all the above options will not give you any more or better light than you have now.

RL is right. But I did find a 4 light for ceiling in kitchen.

What you have now in the other lighting is so taste specific. Are you keeping those?
