Your kitchen is beautiful. Were the upgrades expensive?

Merillat Masterpiece is the equivalent to Kraftmaid. It's produced in the same factory, with a different stamping. It has a lifetime warranty.

Have you seen the Evercore door in the Masterpiece line? It sounds like MDF to me. Would this be a good choice for painted cabinets?

I have used Merillat in many projects! The Evercore is a denser, more durable product, and will wear better long term.

These are all Merillat projects.

Thank you so much for this information. You projects are beautiful!

If you can configure your lower cabs, go for drawers. 36" or wider with full extension and soft close.

@lindaicookinmykitchen-com I am going to order Merillat Masterpiece Evercore cabinets painted Canvas for the walls and the island will be cherry stained in Molasses. The builder allows me to pick one color for walls, trim and ceiling. I can pay extra for two of his five colors. They are Sherwin Williams First Star, Creamy, Extra White, Snowbound or Windfresh. They have suggested Snowbound. What do you suggest?

in my opunion, though KM and MM are owned by the same company, the Masterpiece line falls short of the KitchenMaid in materials, workmanship and how they hold up over time. we bought Mastpiece for a 2005 kitchen remodel. These were close but noticably different than KM. For consistency of design, We just purchased more MM cabs. They are vastly inferior to the 2005 cabs and KM. Dont buy these

Oh my! The house came with Timberlake Porfolio cabinets and I upgraded to Merillat Masterpiece.
