I think the window wall would look more impressive if you hung the panels higher and wider apart...no matter what the color. Maybe some tall espresso bookcases on either side of the TV stand? (IKEA?) If you were allowed to paint the walls a neutral color like a silvery gray, add a big shag rug from Sansom Rugs (best deals on shag that I've found and thick too) in a light color like bone or light gray, then since you like bright color judging by the pillows you could go with sort of peacock color scheme on the pillows and curtain panels...maybe a teal, grassy green, mustard and brown color scheme? What about two lamps on tables on either side of the couch in a brighter color like the blue in the pillow? Just thoughts......:)

Yes, remove the red pillows on the chairs. Take one of the floor lamps from beside the couch and put it beside a chair.

You need a side table....in the same color as the tv cabinet. I would look for a coffee table in that same color. Find one with soft edges on it and not straight lines.

I like elegantbohemian's idea of beefing up the TV wall with tall espresso-coloured bookcases, and I like chemayne's rug ideas, especially the first one - ooh ya! A coffee table would be a tight fit, but consider a long ottoman and place a tray on top to hold drinks. I have also seen ottomans that flip open and a built-in tray pops up. It does look like you could use some end tables since table space in front is at a premium. I think you will find, though, that just adding a rug will make a huge difference.

You need not only a coffee table but some side tables, occasional seating when entertaining. Some smart ideas::

Your current lamps date the room. Consider instead table lamps and a floor unit.
I would recommend side tables flanking the sofa with a couple of table lamps. See suggestion (champagne shades to balance the camel):

Also consider a floor lamp beside one of the camel chairs for reading needs:

Hope this helps you so far.

I would like to thank everyone for your input. I got the idea for the color of the pillows from the painting on the wall. The pillows on the chairs are orange.

OHHHHH! That is where that color comes from. Maybe put the blue pillows on the chairs as they will fit the chairs better than square ones and put the smaller orange ones in front of the gold ones on the couch.
