I think Dark Bronze would be a better window and door choice and I may side over that half round instead of making it rectangular. Your brick/roof/home style lends more towards warm in my viewpoint while black tends to be more cold and modern. I am just afraid you are trying to make your house something it is not.

Here is your house in Urbane Bronze with black trim and windows (as ordered). Instead of having the wood in the window area (I think it would look choppy), I would suggest to have the front and garage doors in wood.

What is ipe composite? I thought ipe was a hard wood, and composite is a composite.

Composite in an ipe color which is like pizza-flavored crackers. Kind of awful and definitely not pizza. I hope the OP is not planning on putting plastic siding on the home. Real ipe or other hardwood is hard to beat.

Thank you both for your thoughts. My wife detests the half round window in front, so that's why we are thinking just making it a rectangle. She also doesn't care for the brick that much, but it is what it is. I like the notion of wood doors, but we've blown through a lot of our budget for home improvements this year, but I see what you mean about a choppy look. We got the idea of Urbane Bronze while thinking of paint in the back while sitting on our new deck. I still really like the idea there. Considering the front also though, maybe we should contemplate something else.

There is a small shopping area that has a building with composite cladding in ipe & it looks fantastic, at least in my opinion.
