Perennials Great Lakes Gardening Ground Cover

Hi, Would someone share the name of this perennial please.

It is a lovely ground cover that spreads a bit. The leaves are somewhat waxy and the cute pink flowers are charming. I recently transplanted some to my garden and it is very happy. This is a zone 6 garden in Canada. 2 photos from the garden where I acquired it.

I was going to say Persicaria also, but a form that is not like our weedy one.

I don't know which one is meant by 'our weedy Persicaria' but I'm guessing it is a Smartweed, weedy Polygonum species, which are annual. Persicaria affinis is perennial.

It certainly makes for a nice groundcover and wonder why I've never planted one of the selections for myself, especially after seeing how well they perform in display gardens. In my neck of the woods, there's a nice little aquatic species that at times I've tucked in among the waterlilies I use to grow, it was a gem!

Persicaria affinis Dimity - Dwarf Fleeceflower THIS is it. It is a little elegant ground cover that is particularly charming here in Ontario.
