Threadleaf type plant with purple flowers

Spotted this outside a local restaurant, about a week ago, a plant I don’t think I’ve ever seen before. About 1.5 feet tall or so.

    Probably Iron Butterfly. I didn't know there was an easy to buy cultivar, until I heard it here. I had no luck with seeds, so I think I'll just order a plant instead. I don't see a problem having seedlings reverting back to a more natural form. I welcome that actually.
