kitchen reno design help

Planning for a remodel of the very dated kitchen in our 70s bi-level. Removing a wall to open the living/dining/kitchen into one space. Have a working layout that preserves electrical and plumbing locations to keep costs down, adds island, and leaves space for a table. Color scheme dilemma… I’m drawn to lighter tone natural woods and whites to brighten up the interior during our Alaskan winters.

I’m thinking about contrasting cabinets. Currently looking at Belmont (cabinet doors shown), but may go with Kraftmaid. Lowers and fridge surround in rift white oak natural (but have considered a warmer stain as well), with uppers in painted white. The open shelf above dishwasher in the oak. Hoping to put in waterproof wood floors but am struggling with color balance. Wondering if light oak floors would be too overpowering with the oak cabinets? Toying with a white waterfall edge counter on the island to break up the oak visually. Or would a contrasting floor/cabinet be better? Including some pics of the layout and samples of the cabinet with 3 different floors. Open to any and all suggestions.
