Have you already picked slabs of this? Always depends on the total package of design elements. For me, the White Spring is much too "heavy" and busy.

A stainless sink is forever. Black appears as a laundry sink.

It's cute. I don't know about the warm white because this small sample reads cool. Although I see some warm spots in it.

A black or dark sink doesn't evoke laundry room. Stainless is noisy and can be spotty. Be modern and updated, go for black. But is that the only option? Putty or truffle (brand dependant) perhaps?

I was able to take a trip to home depot. this is our cabinet style in warm white next to the granite sample. i really liked the way it looked, but thats a very small sample. I do get to pick my slab which im sure is beneficial

Yeah Joe. That's what they remind me of. Sooooooorrry. But stainless gleams with the most minimal upkeep.

You need to take a door sample with you to the granite yard.

White spring is a nice choice.

For me, an overall pattern isn't especially busy.

If you love it, buy it. But take a door to the stone yard to make sure your white will work.

First IMO stainless is forever and easy to keep looking shiny just clean the damn thing. B\lack will show every water spot and IMO never a better choice than a good quality stainless deep one bowl sink As for the granite I would never try to choose a granite in HD's lighting . Get a cabinet sample and thegranite sample and test at home in your space. I will aslo suggest all the lighting in your kitchen at leaast to be LED 4000K. I am just happy you are choosing real stone over fake plastic quartz.

Hmm. I had stainless sinks for decades, liked them, but installed a single bowl Blanco charcoal sink with stainless steel racks six years ago. The Blanco is by far my favorite sink to date. It is easy to clean, doesn’t scratch like the steel sinks, still looks new, and doesn’t show a single water spot. Maybe water spots depend on the mineral content of local water.

My personal preference is to have a sink that is close to the countertop color. A dark sink can look like a black hole in the counter.

Tell him to be sure to rinse those little annoying white egg/pancake remains : )

If you love it, have at it. I've had a Blanco stainless for nearly forever. Rinses easily, a quick swipe and done.

It depends on your general location, but both Home Depot and Lowes were at least double the price for granite when we did ours last summer. Our fabricator/installer used MSI exclusively.

Not a fan of the black sink i feel like it just brings a heavy look to the room; and who wants to bring focus to a sink? i wouldnt do it

for the counters, id go with river white. Looks loghter/ brighter . i just ripped out ornamental granite in my kitchen . always seemed dark and heavy looking. glad its finally gone.

I have Colonial White granite, similar to that white sample, and a black repurposed lab sink. I love my sink and think it looks sharp against the counter, fwiw. Google black kitchen sink images if you are considering one and see what you think. I would not pair that goldish Ornamental with a black sink, but I wouldn't choose the Ornamental in any event.

The black sink hides what's sitting in it, such as dishes from the morning. A white or stainless sink shows everything inside of it, gleaming like a tattletale.

Your stone choice is prettier. There is more white and the whole look is softer. Would you consider a taupe sink? Black might be too,harsh looking. Full disclosure: I don’t like stainless sinks. I have a white farmhouse sink n my current kitchen.

This is what we chose. it looks similar to your choice, but i think this is called alaska white. it is busy compared to the plain white quartz that is so popular now now, but i felt with white cabinets, backsplash, and walls, we needed some contrast. i really like our choice! I hope you like yours too.

I like your stone better than your husband’s choice. I actually have his choice in my rental home baths and kitchen. I don’t hate it. I like it actually. But yours feels a little fresher. For me, any natural stone or wood is preferable over imitations. I think it just feels better.

We went with something similar, this is Adonis white and I believe there is another name for it, light sink, Divinity white cabs. Good luck, your floor color choice is so nice.

HU-476396517: I definitely prefer your choice, for what it’s worth. As to the sink question: personal preference! And I’ve had stainless steel sinks for years (with the exception of an enameled cast iron sink, years ago), but the shine always fades, no matter how well you clean it. Our current house was 11 years old when we bought it, and the sink was as dull as could be! You’re not even supposed to pour really hot water into it,nor use bleach, as this will dull the finish…crazy. Our new sink is a heavy duty fireclay, and so far, so good….no issues with staining or cleaning it. (Admittedly, it is only 2 1/2 months old😉)
