I think many of the names for paint colors are too "Wordly".

The first two look like better fits, but I second PPF's comment that it would be best if you had a siding sample and roofing sample that you could look at next to each other - in daylight. Look at them in sun and shade and anything you can find in between.

I like the last two. They seem to have the most variation in color which I think looks nice.

I'm a DIYer who is residing my whole house in Nucedar worldly gray. I'd tell you from experience that it is definitely tan/beige when the light is hitting it directly. When you have indirect light, it changes to a cooler gray tone (which I prefer as well). I'm not sure if the roof will have much of an effect of cooling the gray tone down. Its all about the kind of sun light that you're getting, in my opinion. What side does the front of your house face? But my house is much smaller with less visible roof so maybe that's why I think of it that way. I'm attaching 2 photos of the shingles with the sun hitting them directly and one with the indirect sun. Maybe that will help you decide what tone they're gonna end up looking like.

Do you have brick on this house too? IMO no shutters and for sure not navy in this mix. Where is your architect is this I need to see pics of all the materials beinfg used on this house all together in this post .

It’s personal preference but shingles with pronounced color variegation can sometimes look busy when combined with stone or brick.

We are considering using Worldly Gray on our build. 2 questions: 1. where is your house? The closest one to me - sent by NuCedar rep - is a 5 hour drive!) and 2. do you have completed pictures? It has been challenging to find very many pictures of this color.

Hi Alison, I feel your pain! I had the hardest time choosing a color just by looking at pictures. We are in Maryland, near Ocean City- just over the state line near Delaware. Our project is a total home renovation and we’ve had LOTS of delays due to supply chain issues, permitting etc… We are still under construction, but the siding is pretty much complete. It’s important to see the Nucedar from different angles, and various times of the day as the color can look very different! I’m happy to send you pictures. Wait until you have a good amount of siding done and the get 3' by 3' samples put on the roof to compare. My roofing company did that for me and it made all the difference.

They is such a great idea houssaon! I wish I had thought of it before we did the roof! The roof is done, but believe it or not, we are STILL under construction! Permits, delays in materials etc… it is taking much longer than expected. I know what a big decision siding can be so I’ll share some in progress pictures, in case it may help others. Please excuse the mess! 😅

We were also torn between Nucedar white and Wordly gray. I tried to catch the light at different times of the day and at different angles because it can look so different. Hope this helps!
