That is very strange. Have them replace the dipped floorboards. It seems odd that they're grouped together.

There are people out there that pay a lot of money to have character in their new floors like that.

Vinyl flooring needs perfectly smooth underlayment. There is no fix for that other than a total redo with proper underlayment. PPF said it right.

You cannot lay vynil over plank subfloors. All the imperfections will telegraph through. Both the GC and flooring contractor should have known that. You will need to remove the flooring and install 4x8 underlayment panels, fill and sand the joints.

Level is desired, but FLAT is required. The sub floor should have been flat, smooth, sheet goods.

You may not want the same people to install the flooring the second time around.

• Hiring subcontractors and managing their quality.
• Contracting suppliers and vendors.

You are going to need another dumpster, plywood and a duplicate order of vinyl.
