It's going to depend on the size and shape of the bulb you put in it as much as the fixture itself. The spread with a standard, shallower bulb will be narrower than with a larger-diameter, taller bulb. If the bulb extends below the bottom of the fixture, the spread will be completely different than if it's not.

Yes I realize the size of bulb matters.y client will probably just use a retrofit led . They will hang it 36" above the sink which is 32" wide. 12" wide shade. I'll look it up in my text book as Louis so prudently suggested. :-)

I have no comment on the spread of light, but wanted to thank you for sharing the light fixture! I love the variety of colors that are offered.
