We are about to buy shades for our bedrooms. We’ve done enough research now to know they are expensive. Our plan is single cell blackout honeycomb on top level of house (mainly for efficiency) and Roman style main level. Mostly cordless but a couple motorized for hard to reach windows. Graber through Costco comes in at a slightly lower price point than the local hunter douglas quotes. I know we could find fabric we like with both companies. One advantage I see with HD is you can get motorized with top up bottom down. The Costco rep says Graber has best warranty in the business because they simply replace the shades instead of replacing parts. I’ve seen complaints on HD posts about replacement parts becoming obsolete. I like the local sales rep/company for both brands. Any thoughts on which way to go? Also - down the road, we kind of like the HD Vignette Roman rollers and may want for main level. Any opinions on those?
