Our 7th floor condo in SW FL got hit hard by hurricane Ian. We are now 3 weeks without power. We have not been allowed onsite yet due to debris. A local friend was able to enter our unit and discovered this damage. Water came through the window (although we were told the carpet is not wet, or no longer wet). This picture is all I have at the moment. Can't really tell if that is mold or just dirty water stain.

Hope to be able to get down there in a couple weeks.

#1: How do we determine if this might be mold on the wall? I am not interested in those tests you mail away... They take a long time and their accuracy (and what it means) is questionable.

#2: How do we determine if it is enough remediation to just wash the wall with a bleach solution?

#3: Concerned about the black near the floor molding. Weather it is dirty water stain or mold, how to clean it?
