ceiling molding

I have a subtle faux treatment on my bedroom walls and a white ceiling. I am one touch up away from making the meeting point worse, rather than better. I have 8' ceilings and wondered if I should just run a piece of quarter round around the top. If so, should I match the trim to the ceiling, or to the baseboard trim?

Hi spenserh, A quarter round maybe too small, try a medium trim, 4" inches or so. They don't all have to match, just be harmonious, and the same 'family'...let us know the updates!...

Thanks, Arlene. Do you mean my ceiling trim doesn't have to match the other trim? It's a small room, so I don't want too much going on in there. Are you thinking crown or something on the ceiling that is coffer-ish?

Hi spenserh, They can be different. Buy a small piece of moulding and compare, before you put it in. It all has to be in the same family and in harmony!.. look forward to seeing your pics!...

Hi, the trim at the ceiling can be the same color as the ceiling. It may help in a smaller room than using a darker trim color.
