RARE ROSES ON YOUR RADAR!
I hope you can join the Rare Rose Auction this year, the annual event of the California Coastal Rose Society (CCRS) happening in one week, October 29 and 30. This is a live event open to all that has a huge silent auction which you can bid on online and a really cool live auction this year in Oceanside, CA.

I'll be speaking on Saturday about preserving roses with a new chapter in my Time Capsule of Roses. The Friends of Vintage Roses have provided a bunch of rare roses to the auction, and some of them are here to inspire you. CCRS does a huge service to the rose world at large, importing rare roses from abroad at a time when importing is so restricted. They are helping to save old and modern rose varieties from European collections in peril today. This fund raiser allows them to provide these rare beauties to all of us to grow.
Please consider making a bid and helping John and Becky and Joel and the whole society to continue this good work! And Bless You for doing it!
(You may bid and receive roses sent to you, but the fun is in the people!)
