First of all, thank you for the photos of your cute dog!

I like to see out the window from in bed...will it fit on the wall opposite the window where the dresser is? Might have to remove a nightstand to fit. That's what I would do and walk around the bed to enter the room.

It appears the door can open with the bed on the accent wall fine. I don't think the bed necessarily needs to be centered. "Form follows function" as they say.

Where it is next to the window, move the bed to the right so it clears the window, you may have to find somewhere else for the nightstand. It might work if you pull the stand out so it clears the headboard and abut it to the wall. Pull the bed out a bit so the drapes can hang.

Yes, the accent wall calls for a dramatic gallery display.

I prefer the bed on the accent wall rather than half covering the window.

Could you change the swing of the door? I think it should be fairly simple.

The bed doesn't have to be centered on the wall. It can be centered on the space left when the door is open. You could add some art to hang behind the door that would balance the space when the door is open. Add some art over the bed, too. Stack a couple of pieces to the right and it will be fine. Or a minimally framed tall mirror could work.

If you want to complicate things more... you can look up FengShui, and they have a lot to say about placement of things, colors, etc...

I’d repaint it and move on.

The easiest approach is to repaint the wall if black isn’t working well with what you initially planned. Alternatively, display some art or photos on the wall.
