Start by removing the faux shutters.

Obviously, you will need a deck if you keep the double doors on the second floor. A design like this would really change the look from the curb and give you a chance to have a screened in porch.

For your house the deck and screened in porch would only be across the front facing gable.

It's a very poor picture. Take it landscape. The color scheme is uninspired and I don't like the horizontal brown stripe. But mostly, you need landscaping

I still think having a sunroom under the deck on gable end will add lots of charm to the house, especially at night when lights are on. The room will break up the flat front. I suggest iron rails.
