More BLTs? Still?

Sungold is the only one still pumping out fruits. Every other plant is turning brown.

The sweetness of sungold needs to have the bacon done a different way, made into bacon bits to concentrate the flavor. Turkish bread seem to have a nice texture to match this strange BLT idea.

I made a makeshift greenhouse around my raised beds and have been eating ripe toms for almost six weeks from it. Finally pulled them all last night, temps dipping into 20s and today it's snowing. I still have a tabletop full of ripe and also unripe ones. Plan is for salsa, can up the rest and a green tomato relish. Any left I'll wrap in newspaper, stick in the dark and hope a few ripen.

Very appetizing - we had BLT's for a quick dinner last night. But the quickest sandwich you can imagine - leftover rotisserie chicken, Romaine, Compari tomatoes from the supermarket and bacon on toasted whole wheat. Not nearly as pretty as yours but how can you go wrong with bacon!

BLT is half the reason why I grow tomatoes and lettuce. Going to buy seeds soon for next year's BLTs.

plllog, Turkish bread tastes like mixing pizza bread and Naan bread.

l pink, I too just put up my greenhouse, possibly grow some dwarf tomatoes. Bought some seeds.
