Will scones lighting work in my bathroom? Please help

Is there a rule for how wide a vanity should be to place sconces? We have two 67” bathroom vanities in our master. We will be doing one 12” tower on one end. Would really like to have two scones on each side of the mirror but not sure if the remaining space after the tower gives me enough room to do that. The sconces are narrow enough I think it will work but I am also not sure about placement or the rule of measurement. I’ve included my inspo photo and the lights I would like to get.

The problem with scones lighting is that people want to put jam on them and eat them. ;-)

Those are narrow sconces, so you will have room. It depends partly on how wide a mirror you use, but you could do a 24-30" wide mirror and have room. You just need a couple inches on each side of the sconces, say 4". 67-12-12-12 = 31 (67" - linen tower - 12" for each sconce = room left for mirror). This isn't exactly your setup, but you can see how close they installed the sconces.

LOL. I read the title and was just about to come and post basically what kudzu said. :D

Yes you'll be fine with the sconces.

Oh and if you do the scones, i'll take mine with jam AND clotted cream please.

As long as we are doing corrections, I think you would prefer one sconce on either side of each mirror. Two is overkill.

We see a lot of folks wanting scones beside their mirrors. Putting two on each side is popular, too. Two, one on each side, takes a couple of commas and an extra word and seems hard for people to handle. I think it is the commas that do them in..
