Let me preference this by saying I like busy spaces and bold colors. Muted tones are not my thing. I have a similar hallway with 5 doors. The walls are some shade of white, the molding is black, and the doors are periwinkle blue. That being said, there is just no way I could see this combo you have suggested as busy. These colors are so muted that in the right light they might be mistaken as the same with just shadows causing the difference in color. There will likely be some people who see the painted doors who don't realize they are a different color than the walls. In my mind, this subtle difference is almost not worth the added effort. It will look fabulous but not significantly more fabulous than plain white doors.

I think the door color in the second photo is more apparent than it will be in person because of professional lighting and photo editing.

What I meant was I photoshopped a revere pewter door onto your photo and you can barely see the difference.

I will have to find some photos of my hallway for you. It might take a minute or two.

same color as the wall only different sheen. it's too small a space for 'accents'

Generally, I think it looks best when all molding is a consistent color. There are, however, always exceptions. So, I would do either all grey molding in the hallway, including the door trim, or all white.

I would say all grey because it won't show quite as many scuff marks as the white. But in the end, the color difference will be so subtle it really won't matter which one.

Just so I am clear, you want the accent wall to be painted either Edgecomb or Revere Pewter? What color will the other walls be? Assuming other walls are some shade of white, I would go with an Edgecomb accent wall probably. But what will the rest of the bathroom look like? Can you show photos of your vanity, mirror, fixtures, floorplan, etc?

Also, when you open the bathroom door, you face which wall? Whatever wall that is, that is where I would put the accent wall, in most cases but not always.

I encourage you to do at least one space in your home with color and an edgy design. Generally, bathrooms, especially powder rooms, are great for that.

yeah I want fairmont green kind colour to be accent wall in washroom the rest wall will be white, medium to dark wood vanity

1 is the wall you seen when you open the door but as you see in the photo roof is slanted would it look funny and draw attention to that when its accented?

Here is the look of Revere Pewter doors with Chantilly Lace trim. The angles are wrong but still gives the idea of the look...

Note: I did mention that the trim was Chantilly Lace which is the same colour as your walls but perhaps the sketch above doesn't reflect that. So here is an update one:

Am I correct in assuming that no fixture will be on the green wall? When you open the bathroom door, the vanity is on the left and it faces the shower? The toilet is between the green wall and the shower bench? If that's the case then perhaps you can make the green wall a gallery wall. I would still keep that the accent wall.

is it ideal for my master bedroom wall to be also green rather than dark teal? i am debating on oasis blue vs slate teal from benjamin moore for master accent

What ever door color you choose, bring in another color to the hallway to break the monotone.

OMG I love those two colors Oasis Blue and Slate Teal. You are thinking of painting your master bedroom teal but you are concerned because the tile in your master bathroom is green. Is that right? Can you post a photo of the tile? I think there are ways to make the two colors work if you have something to tie them together like a rug or pieces of art. At least that is what comes to mind without seeing what you are working with. My master bathroom is pink and blue. My master bedroom is mainly black and white. I tried to tie the two rooms together with art, my bedspread, and a lamp. You might be able to do something similar.

Either make doors same color as trim,or make trim same color as walls. And then follow same pattern throughout the house. Otherwise it does start to get a bit "busy."

I had too many doors down a hallway in my MCM ranch we diid all the doors in pixelated glass and we have pale gray walls everywhere so I did all the doors in a dark gray

need to see in day light but looks quite dramatic

Wow that looks absolutely fabulous! It is one of my favorite colors. I think it was a great selection.

As for the hallway colors, will one be for the walls and the other for the trim? IMO you are looking at colors that are so close together that it might end up making something look dirty instead of a difference in paint. For example, if you put Swiss Cheese on the baseboards, it might be so close to CL that either the baseboards or the walls just look dirty. Then if you paint the ceiling another shade of white you will have a third problem. I think I would go with a second paint color that is noticeably different or do the hallway in all the same color.

This is halo and chantilly lace inside of master room what do you think of this two combination?

Keep in mind that if I have ever seen these colors in person then I didn't know what I was looking at. It could be that they are absolutely fine together. Typically I select a color without fretting over it and I don't think about it again but I never pick colors that are so similar in tone.

The halo and CL look great together from what I can see.
