small trinket boxes - ideas for decorating/using

Does anyone have examples, ideas or photos they can share of how to incorporate tiny trinket boxes into apartment decor? Ideally keeping them functional. I’d love to see example photos of trinket boxes used on the wall with printed art. My google searches aren’t turning up results. Thanks in advance.

Here’s some more info:

The photos show similar trinket boxes to some that I have. I’d like to keep some of my small trinket boxes and use them somehow in my apartment. I don’t have a lot of shelves or surface space. I don’t keep things on tables because my dog will get them. I can’t see them when they are up super high on a shelf or on top of a cabinet.

Do you have a mantle by any chance? My mom inhereted an incredible collection of small boxes from my grandma and we have added to it over the years. There must be 50 of them by now. When my mom moved into her apartment, I arranged them for her on the mantle. People love walking up to them and looking at them. They are arranged in a cool pattern too.

Hi- You can get a few floating shelves on the wall so they are approximately 5 feet high. Purchase some display brackets whose openings are wide enough to support the boxes. Place the boxes vertically on the shelves. Group the shelves together. Voila!

IMO show us your boxes . Your space too. I am not a lover of stuff displayed for no purpose so a bit more info for sure and pictures.

I don't see how you can both hang them on a wall and have them functional at the same time. You might consider placing them in a shadow box on a table, if your dog isn't too curious.

Oh sorry! I missed the keeping them functional part.

I have coffee tables with glass tops and a shelf below on which you can display the boxes.

So you can see them and the dog can't get a at them.

I have small stuff like this sitting on the bookcases in front of the books, and some of them are turned onto their side so you can see the tops. Most books you don't need to get to frequently, it's not a library, so I don't mind stacking stuff in front of them.
